while the snow falls here in halifax – i find myself contemplating a few simple words i first read in a zen magazine some 15 years ago while living in toronto…’want what you have.’
the words are simple yet provocative. they speak clearly, mirroring back want what you already have. wow. no need to take on more when you have all that you need!
as we each make conscious consumer choices in these challenging times, these words help keep our numerous options simple. such as taking a GOOD closer look in your closet before heading out to buy yet another pair of ‘who knows where they were made’ jeans – could be a huge relief.
